"Twisted my ankle on Saturday afternoon." "My child fell on Sunday and is complaining of arm pain." Have you ever had the experience of finding all the nearby orthopedic clinics closed on such occasions?
At Jujo Station Haru Internal Medicine and Dermatology Clinic, an orthopedic specialist is available every day, from Monday to Sunday and public holidays. We can provide same-day treatment for acute injuries such as sprains, suspected fractures, and dislocations, as well as chronic musculoskeletal conditions like back pain and stiff shoulders.
👉 Same-day visits without an appointment are also possible. Please feel free to consult us first.
Orthopedic Specialists Available
Our clinic has orthopedic specialists working on all consultation days: Monday-Thursday, Saturday, Sunday, and public holidays.
On Fridays, while we don't have an orthopedic specialist, we can provide initial care such as confirming fractures and prescribing painkillers. If immobilization is necessary, we will provide care first thing the next day.
On-site Immobilization and Reduction
If a suspected fracture, dislocation, or sprain is confirmed, we perform cast immobilization, splint immobilization, and reduction procedures within the clinic. While some clinics can take X-rays but refer you to another hospital for immobilization, we handle everything from diagnosis to initial treatment in one place. You can receive the necessary treatment without being bounced around, even after work or on weekends.
Main Symptoms We Can Treat
- Sprains/Contusions (ankles, wrists, knees, etc.)
- Suspected fractures/Checking for hairline fractures
- Dislocations/Mallet finger
- Muscle strains/Muscle contusions
- Acute low back pain (acute phase)
- Back pain, knee pain, stiff shoulders, frozen shoulder (adhesive capsulitis)
- All sports-related injuries
- Pain in children after falls/drops
- For cases requiring MRI/CT/surgery, we refer to affiliated medical institutions.
Our clinic does not have large imaging diagnostic equipment such as MRI/CT or surgical facilities. If advanced examinations or surgical procedures are deemed necessary, we will prepare a referral letter to an affiliated medical institution to ensure a smooth transition to the next medical facility.
Even in situations where it's difficult to decide whether to go to a large hospital or be seen at a clinic, visiting our clinic first can help us guide you to appropriate medical care.
Referral to Nearby Facilities for Rehabilitation Needs
Our clinic does not have an attached rehabilitation facility (rehabilitation by physical therapists). Therefore, for cases requiring ongoing rehabilitation, we will introduce you to nearby rehabilitation facilities.
Continuous rehabilitation is important for functional recovery after fractures, post-operative rehabilitation, and improvement of chronic musculoskeletal disorders. Even if you're unsure where to go, please be assured that we can guide you to appropriate facilities.
