About Fat Dissolving Injections (Kabelline)
This page serves as a counseling document for doctors, nurses, and counselors to use when explaining to patients. We will provide an explanation that is as easy to understand as possible, while also including medical perspectives.
Procedure Features
- Injection treatment that reduces fat cells
- Minimally invasive due to no scalpel use
- Suitable for spot reduction (face line, double chin, desired body areas)
Kabelline is a fat dissolving injection primarily composed of deoxycholic acid. It works by destroying fat cell membranes, reducing fat cells, which are then expelled from the body.
Because destroyed fat cells are less likely to regenerate, there is a low risk of rebound. However, remaining fat cells may enlarge, so managing lifestyle habits is also important.
While individual results vary, multiple sessions (approximately 3 to 5 times) are typically recommended for noticeable effects.
