Blood and Urine Collection
A nurse will collect blood and urine samples in the clinic. We take great care to minimize discomfort. The process usually takes about 10-15 minutes. -
Specimens to Fukuyama Clinical Lab
The specimens are sent to our partner, Fukuyama Clinical Laboratory Center, where they are tested and analyzed in a state-of-the-art environment. -
Explanation of Results
If you visit before 5 PM, results will be available as early as the next day. The doctor will carefully explain the meaning of the numerical values and propose a treatment plan if necessary.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q. Do I need to come in on an empty stomach?
For some tests such as blood glucose, triglycerides, and cholesterol, fasting (no food or drink for 10-12 hours or more) is preferable. We will inform you in advance depending on the tests you are undergoing.
Q. Can I get the same tests as a health check-up?
Yes. In addition to basic combined blood and urine tests, you can also add tumor markers or hormone tests as options. Please let us know your preferences.
Q. Can you mail me the test results?
Please consult us if you wish. Although we typically prefer to explain the results to you in person at the clinic, we can make individual arrangements if returning to the clinic is difficult.
Please Feel Free to Visit Us
You can visit on the same day without an appointment. Online reservations will give you priority. Please feel free to ask any questions about blood and urine tests.
