Triquilar is a second-generation, low-dose birth control pill (oral contraceptive) that contains levonorgestrel and ethinyl estradiol. The hormone levels change in three phases (triphasic), allowing for hormone replacement in a way that more closely mimics a natural menstrual cycle.

It has been prescribed in Japan for over 30 years, making it a highly reliable and popular birth control pill. Taking one pill daily at the same time can provide a high contraceptive effect (over 99% when taken correctly).

In addition to contraception, it is used to stabilize menstrual cycles, alleviate menstrual pain and PMS, and reduce menstrual bleeding.

* Rarely, thrombosis (chest pain, shortness of breath, swelling/pain in the calves, severe headache, visual disturbances, etc.) may occur. If these symptoms appear, stop taking the medication immediately and consult a medical institution.

Precautions for Use

・Contraceptive efficacy is maintained by taking the medication at the same time every day.
・If you consistently miss doses, contraceptive efficacy will significantly decrease.
・In the initial period of use (1-3 months), irregular bleeding and nausea are common, but in most cases, these symptoms resolve with continued use.
・If you have an upcoming surgery or hospitalization, please inform us in advance to avoid the risk of thrombosis.
・If you have a chronic illness or are taking other medications, please consult us in advance.

Contraindications - Those Who Cannot Use This Product

・Patients with a history of hypersensitivity to the ingredients of this drug
・Patients with a history or current illness of thrombosis (venous thrombosis, pulmonary embolism, myocardial infarction, stroke, etc.)
・Smokers aged 35 or older who smoke 15 or more cigarettes per day
・Patients with severe high blood pressure or diabetes (with complications)
・Patients with a diagnosis or history of breast cancer, endometrial cancer, or cervical cancer
・Pregnant or breastfeeding women
・Patients with migraine with aura
・Patients with severe liver dysfunction
