Tranexamic acid tablets are an oral medication used to improve melasma and whiten skin. They work by suppressing the action of "plasmin," a substance that promotes melanin production, thereby helping to reduce spots and melasma.

There is abundant medical evidence for its effectiveness against melasma, making it a standard whitening oral medication widely prescribed in dermatology. It is also used to prevent post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.

For cosmetic purposes, a synergistic effect can be expected when used in combination with vitamin C (Shinarl) or vitamin E (Yuvera). Our clinic also offers combination prescriptions.

Results vary from person to person, and considering the skin's turnover cycle, a minimum of 2-3 months of continuous use is recommended.
