Favore is a third-generation low-dose birth control pill (oral contraceptive) that contains desogestrel and ethinyl estradiol. It is designed to provide high contraceptive efficacy with a small amount of hormones.

It is a generic version of Marvelon, and its ingredients and effects are almost identical. By taking one tablet at the same time every day, high contraceptive efficacy (over 99% when taken correctly) can be expected.

In addition to contraception, it is also used to alleviate women's specific concerns, such as stabilizing the menstrual cycle, relieving menstrual pain and PMS, and improving acne.

The effects vary among individuals. As continued use helps to balance hormones, please continue taking it in consultation with your doctor.

This product requires an in-person visit to our clinic. Payment can be made after your visit and consultation.

Regarding charges

If you pay in advance, there is no consultation fee. Only the displayed price will be charged.

If you pay after your visit, a first consultation fee (3,300 yen including tax) will be charged for services under 10,000 yen.

* Rarely, thrombosis (chest pain, shortness of breath, swelling/pain in the calves, severe headache, visual disturbances, etc.) may occur. If these symptoms appear, stop taking the medication immediately and consult a medical institution.

Precautions for Use

・Contraceptive efficacy is maintained by taking the medication at the same time every day.
・If you consistently miss doses, contraceptive efficacy will significantly decrease.
・In the initial period of use (1-3 months), irregular bleeding and nausea are common, but in most cases, these symptoms resolve with continued use.
・If you have an upcoming surgery or hospitalization, please inform us in advance to avoid the risk of thrombosis.
・If you have a chronic illness or are taking other medications, please consult us in advance.

Contraindications - Those Who Cannot Use This Product

・Those with a history of hypersensitivity to any ingredient in this medicine
・Those with a history or current condition of thrombosis (e.g., venous thrombosis, pulmonary embolism, myocardial infarction, stroke)
・Smokers aged 35 or older who smoke 15 or more cigarettes per day
・Those with severe hypertension or diabetes with complications
・Those diagnosed with or with a history of breast cancer, endometrial cancer, or cervical cancer
・Those who are pregnant or breastfeeding
・Those with migraine with aura
・Those with severe liver dysfunction
